Deputy National Field Director

Full time • Northeast Ohio

ACC Campus, the nation’s largest right-of-center environmental organization, seeks to employ a full-time Deputy National Field Director to assist in the development and execution of national campus programs, events, and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, relationship-oriented, and thrive in a start-up culture. Past experience in field organizing is required for the role as well as management skills and attention to detail. The Deputy National Field Director will work alongside and report directly to the National Field Director. 

Responsibilities

  • Work to expand ACC’s campus network by recruiting ACC Campus Representatives.

  • Training and supporting ACC’s campus activists.

  • Represent ACC at conferences and events.

  • Staff campus events when necessary.

  • Develop and execute field program initiatives.

  • General administrative support.

Requirements

  • Belief in ACC Campus’ mission of free-market environmentalism and the ability to effectively communicate that mission.

  • Three or more years of experience in field organizing or grassroots activism, preferably with a focus on campus activism. 

  • Proficiency in G Suite products, Slack, and CRM platforms.

  • Graphic design and digital media experience is a plus.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Required travel: 25%
